Welcome
Welcome to the October edition of the iT4Communities charity newsletter.
We've had an exciting couple of months and you can read about it here. We're delighted to announce that leading IT Consultancy to the not-for-profit sector, appiChar, is to sponsor iT4Communities and help us find more volunteers to help more organisations like yours.
'Father of Internet', Vint Cerf dropped in to endorse the wonderful work of our volunteers and we're gearing up to celebrate some great IT projects in the 2008 IT Volunteering Awards.
Also in this issue:
- We attended the RBS Community Fair.
- Independent charity advisors Intelligent Giving say nice things about us.
- Community Technology have computers looking for a new home.
- A case study describing how two volunteer helped a charity in Harrow.
We always love to hear from you, so if you'd us to feature your project in a future case study, nominate a volunteer for an award or ask for advice about an IT project please give us a call on 020 7796 2144 or e-mail on info@it4communities.org.uk
