Welcome to Charity News - Issue 6

Welcome to this edition of our Charity Newsletter. Here at iT4C we are currently preparing for the Volunteer Week (1-7 June). As it approaches, I am confident that you have lined up some very interesting ways to thank your volunteers. But what is iT4C doing for our volunteers you might well ask? Well, we have set a challenge for the IT Volunteers called 'What Can You Do in 5 Minutes?'. A lot apparently!

During the volunteer week we have set a challenge for the volunteers to:

  • Log into their accounts and search for a new opportunity to work on
  • Tell two friends about iT4C
  • Contact a charity they have recently worked with and check that everything's still working fine
  • And adding a link to iT4C from their website

What do you think?

As we do not wish for all this effort to go to waste here is what we would like you to do:

  • Be available for the volunteer
  • Return that call from a volunteer you have been meaning to for a while
  • Contact iT4C to let us know how your project is progressing or not
  • Register a new project
  • Add a link from your site to iT4C site (logo available for this purpose.)

Also set to launch later this month are the IT Volunteer Awards 2007 - so be on the lookout for entry information. Last year's awards were a resounding success...
