Attractive website attracts more members
Client
African Peoples Advocacy seeks to promote equality and diversity for the public benefit, as well as advance education and relieve financial hardship amongst African communities in the UK and worldwide.
The challenge
The charity had lost access to their website and e-mails, and was having difficulty obtaining the information they needed to solve the problem. They also felt that their website was too primitive and hard to update.
Our help
iT4Communities volunteer Nicholas Bamber, who has 15 years experience in the IT industry, re-designed the website and transferred the organisation to a cheaper and more user-friendly service provider. Nicholas also produced a website maintenance manual for APA so that they could help themselves to become more self-sufficient.
The result
- A more attractive website
- Raised profile of the organisation to attract more members
- Service users kept up to date about activities
What our client said
We are very grateful to iT4C for putting us in touch with Nicholas. It took Nicholas only a few days to solve all our problems. He has remained eager to help us whenever we have had a challenging IT issue. The professionalism and availability of Nicholas made this project very successful.
